Medidtaiton World Peace, and talk Department of Peace Campaign 2009-12-02 Sedona Peace Alliance Susanna Holt
Every Wednesday for the past three years, I give a talk about the Department of Peace Campaign to visitors to Sedona. I am the coordinator for Northern Arizona for this Initiative that is now a bill in the House of Representatives HRH808 to establish a Department of Peace and Disarmament in our government. There are now at least 30 other affiliates, countries around the world that are urging their governments to do the same. Myself and Pete Sanders, MIT scientist, and ex Navy Seal, who has given meditation classes in Congress, give a meditation for World Peace. There are now at least 30 other affiliates, countries around the world that are urging their governments to do the same. It is an uphill struggle! I am so happy to see the movement that you are gathering, and the efforts towards peace that all of us aspire to, collectively we must change the perspectives of those who seek conflict. I applaud you 100% I will talk about the event in Wednesday, and if there is anything else that can be done here in Northern Arizona, please suggest it?

Universal Connection 2010-01-02 Wherever you are Beings Who Yearn For Peace, Inc. Steven Siegman
A moment of universal connection where participants leave violence in the past and move forward in peace. At 12:00 GMT, on January 2, the event is for a worldwide moment of peace, in coordination with the marchers as they finish. The intention is to have a moment of harmony, where we are willing to release all violence in our hearts, forgiving the other side for past affronts and choosing to resolve current disputes peacefully. The issues may be personal as well as political. In this moment, not only do we let go of the tough stuff but we embrace the good stuff, connecting for a moment in our hearts and souls with every person, acknowledging our shared humanity. We can also connect with all living things, all things, and all non-things. (Sorry in advance if I'm ignoring something, or nothing ;-)
